All of our fees are flat rate (and royalty based for publishing). This means that you'll never be rushed out the door or left with an unfinished product.  We are always willing to work with you, regardless of how small or large your budget might be, to find a customized plan that gives you the best results for your money!

 

Our flat rate fees enable us to work towards the completion of a project, versus working based on the amount of time that you paid us for.  Your success is our success and we look forward to working with you every step of the way!

Services:

Our mobile recording services are standardized below on our rate sheet, however the pricing will always be customized to give you the most affordable rates possible! 

 

For example, if you hire us to record a live performance, then fees would be discounted because each track won't need to be played multiple times, as the one-time live performance is being recorded (versus a typical recording session where we track multiple recordings of each instrument to see which one the artist likes the best).

In addition to providing recording services, Tim Farr Music can provide live sound management for your performances - due to the extremely diverse nature of venues, you will have to contact us with details about the performance/venue for us to be able to provide you with an accurate quote for this additional service.

​

A small travel fee may be assessed for customers outside of our normal service area (just to cover the cost of gas to and from your location), however there is no standard additional mobile service fee!

Cover Songs:

​

Our standard pricing is based upon recording and publishing-administration of completely original works.  We are absolutely happy to work with covers of other artists songs!  Some of the best music can come from unique adaptations of other artists' songs!

 

However, distribution and publishing-administration of any cover songs have the potential to incur additional fees.  Please see our explanation of the Distribution and Publishing-Administration process to explain why this process is more complicated!

As always, we will strive to make everything the most affordable that it can be for you! Our pricing for obtaining the mechanical licensing can vary based on the situation, however we would always provide pricing to you before moving forward with obtaining a mechanical license!
